PRODUCT DATA |
BESTFLEX
flexible duct is manufactured by laminating aluminium foil and either a tough polyester film or another ply of foil over a spring steel wire helix. |
BESTFLEX
is also available factory insulated with fibreglass and covered with an outer jacket of aluminium foil and polyester laminate. |
BESTFLEX
can also be manufactured with perforations in the duct in which configuration it is ideal for reducing air noise in low pressure and domestic air conditioning systems. This grade, know as BESTFLEX Acoustic, is wrapped with insulation and jacket as above and the external appearance is the same as insulated BESTFLEX. |
BESTFLEX provides an effective and maintenance free service life under normal operating conditions when properly installed. It is easy to transport and handle and simple to use and install. |
Attention is drawn to the requirement that flexible duct must always be fully extended and bends made with adequate radius to prevent corrugation of the interior with consequent excessive resistance to airflow. |
